Chaldean
Catholic Church
The Chaldean Catholic Church is an autonomous church in
full communion with the Catholic Church. It is one of 23
Eastern Catholic Churches which use Eastern liturgical
rites in addition to the Latin rite. It emerged from the
ancient Church of the East (also known as the Nestorian
Church) after the schism of 1552. The church claims continuity
with the old Church of the East.
