Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

The First Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also known as the Mormon Church, was founded by Joseph Smith in 1830. After his death, a number of different branches split off from the main church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, is still the largest and most well-known denomination within the Latter-day Saint movement, with millions of members worldwide.
