Muwattalli King of the Hittites 1400s BC[1] Main Events He murdered Huzziya II and seized the Hittite throne. He was later murdered by the possible sons of Huzziya II. His possible son was Muwa, Muwattalli's Chief of the Bodyguards, who lead the revolt against Tudhaliya I/II, but was defeated.[1]
