| Jalal Khan Diler Khan (–1683) Biographical A Daudzai Afghan, he was one of the best and bravest generals of the emperor Aurangzeb, and held the rank of 5,000. He was granted the jagir of Kalpi that had been confiscated from his brother, Bahadur Khan Ruhella. According to Niccolo Manucci, he was poisoned by his son-in-law, Azil Khan, on the orders of Prince Shah Alam (son of Aurangzeb). Place of death: the Deccan |
