Ea Other names: Nudimudd[P48] Sea god and god of wisdom.[R69] Water god of Eridu.[O28] Worshipped from c. 1900 BC to c. 200 BC.[J22] For the Hittites, he was the god A'as.[I38] One of the three Great Triad of Gods.[O28] He fought and defeated Apus and Mommu.[O28] In another account, he is Aos, the father of Belos.[R69] Depicted as half man and half fish with two heads or dressed in fish skins.
