Diana

Goddess of forests and groves, of slaves and plebeians,[J94] of the moon.[J22]
Etruscan moon goddess, she became the equivalent to the Greek Artemis.[W78]
Her name derives from 'Diviana', the shining one.[I38]
She dwells in the forests, and is a huntress and protector of animals, and guardian of virginity.[J22]
Her three aspects are Hecate, Luna, and Phoebe.[J94]
Her sanctuary was on the Aventine Hill.[J22]
