Biographical Augusta 602 Leontia was crowned 'Augusta' by Phocas at Constantinople. Pope Gregory congratulated her on her accession. Her father apparently conspired against Phocas in 604. Daughter of Sergius, patricius, she married Phocas, and had issue. |
