Joseph

Biographical

An old, dourly, self-righteous servant at Wuthering Heights who has served there for sixty years, Joseph is a fervent Calvinist and is generally cold-hearted and unfriendly, scolding everybody and making dire predictions over their behaviour and their fate. At the end of the story, he is the sole occupant at the Heights.
