(c. 1500–68)

Cardinal-Priest of San Ciriaco alle Terme Diocleziane 1561–66

He followed the footsteps of his uncle Giacomo, studying law, and choosing an ecclesiastical career. He became a member of the jurists collegiate in Milan around 1535, although it seems that he never resided there. He participated in the Council of Trent in 1545, after which he was rewarded by the Pope who appointed him referendario della Segnatura apostolica. Little is known about him from the 1550s to 1560. He distinguished himself again at the Council of Trent in 1561. After his death, he was impersonated by a conman who accumulated a fortune before being arrested in Bologna.
