Ducal counsellor
He fled
after his father's arrest in 1480, and went to Rome in 1481. He was granted
refuge at the court of Pope Sixtus IV, an enemy of the Sforza, who made
Antonio an equerry and promised to help him, but it seems that none was
forthcoming. Nothing more is heard of Antonio after this.

Son of Cicco Simonetta and Elisabetta Visconti. Husband of Beatrice Sanvitale.
