In order to marry Luisa González Sáez de la Torre who was
from the Santisteban lineage, one of the twelve noble families of Soria,
Juan was required to prove his nobility.
He was ennobled by King Carlos III. The Casa Palacio de los González
de Gregorio (Palacio de Quintana) in Quintana Redonda was built by him
in 1757.
