3rd Señor de Las Seguras 1554–84†
Perpetual Regidor of Cáceres

From the age of nine, Rodrigo was raised in the household of the Marquis of Ayamonte, remaining there for twenty years. He inherited the mayorazgo and found its principal houses in San Mateo largely ruined and uninhabitable, so he abandoned them, sold the old buildings with royal authorisation, and replaced them within the mayorazgo with other property. He drew up his will on 23 October 1582.
