Señor de Villanueva Grado (–>1468) Biographical Señor de de Villanueva Grado Rodrigo succeeded to the leadership of the family line, rather than his half-sister Inés. He faced a number of legal disputes with relatives over his inheritance and, despite initially reaching an amicable agreement with his nephew Diego, a number of lawsuits later arose between them, leading Rodrigo to reach a further agreement in 1468. Diego may have later murdered him. In other sources, Rodrigo is incorrectly described as the son of Alvar Díaz de Miranda, who was in fact his uncle.
