Fernando Analso

Biographical

Fernando donated the estate of Villahizoy, Grado, to the convent of Santa María de Belmonte in 1277, together with properties at Las Fogas, Seaza and Sernices, Grado, which he had donated previously, in return for the grant of the monastery's encomienda and the usufruct of certain estates to his son, Diego Fernández de Lodón. His uncle, Suer Fernández de Soto, had granted a vineyard at Soto de los Infantes and other estates to the convent, but it appears that Fernando had seized them. They were recovered after his death, only to be seized again by his grandson, Alvar.
