10th Marqués de Santiago 1915–50 ced. (inv. 1915)

A Real Carta of Succession was ordered for Miguel in 1915 to succeed his uncle to the marquisate of Monreal after his brother Juan's application was withdrawn. Miguel's own application lapsed in 1916 because he did not pay the required legal fees, and his brother Fernando then requested a Letter of Succession that year. He ceded Santiago to his sister, María de las Mercedes.
