Antonio died before his father, and even though he was the eldest son, his own son did not inherit the title of Marquess of Campo Sagrado because, under the rule of inverse agnation established with the House of Quirós in 1474, the title passed to the nearest living male descendant of the founder.

Son of Francisco Bernaldo de Quirós and Francisca de Mariño, he was married in 1783 to María de la Soledad Rodríguez de los Ríos, with issue:
