Darvall
Biographical Darvall served with the East India Company. He entered the Madras civil service in 1772, became Collector of the Northern Division of the Jaghire in 1791, and was a member of the Board of Trade from 1798. Son of Joseph Darvall and Elizabeth Goodwin, he married Orme Bigland in 1772, and had issue (including Catherine Mary Elizabeth who married Rev James Wood, with issue). |
