Biographical

His grandfather was General-en-Chef Kornilii Borozdin, and he was th brother of Andrei Borozdin and Nikolai Borozdin. He fought the Swedes in 1790; the Turks in 1791; at the battle of Macin; the Polish insurgents, 1792-94; the French on the Ionian Islands, 1799; at Smolensk, Shevardino and Borodino, 1812, and afterwards at Tarutino, Maloyaroslavets and Krasnyi; at the seige of Danzig, 1813.[C25]
