Bakhsh (1619–61) Positions Held Governor of Gujarat Governor of Thatta Biographical The youngest son of Emperor Shah Jahan, Murad Bakhsh was appointed governor by his father. He was seized and imprisoned in the fort of Gwalior by the orders of his brother, Emperor 'Alamgir, after the first battle he fought against his brother Dara Shikoh, and was subsequently murdered.
