Biographical
Taken to Rome after his father's death as a child and prisoner.[D96]
Received a Roman education and became a Roman citizen.[D96]
A prolific writer in Greek on a variety of subjects.[D96]
It is uncertain whether he inherited the kingship of Bocchus II of Mauretania
in 33 BC as stated by Strabo, or if it became a Roman province after Bocchus'
death as stated by Dio, or if he was allowed by Rome to inherited Numidia,
later replaced with the kingdom of Mauretania.[D96]
Made his son joint-king around 17-21 AD.[D96] |
