Possibly shared power with his cousin Kurunta of Tarhuntassa with whom
he drew up a treaty.[I16]
His wife was possibly the daughter of the king of Babylon.[I16]
He faced problems controlling the vassal states, threats from Assyria,
rebellion from the people of Lalanda in the Lower Land and in the Seha
River Land and also famine in his kingdom (which required Egypt to send grain),
