After graduating from Harvard in 1936, Theodore joined the navy and
was a navy flyer during World War II, and served as a flag lieutenant
in the Pacific. He became a brokerage partner with Montgomery, Scott,
in Philadelphia in 1952. He was also president of the Competitive Enterprise
System, Inc., and a trustee of the Theodore Roosevelt Association.
