(~1612–90) Biographical Knight of the Order of Calatrava 1645 Head of the Royal Council of Finance 1675–90† Francisco was made head of the Royal Council of Finance by royal decree, despite concerns that he was affiliated with the Casa de Cortizos. Businessmen were prohibited from becoming members of the Royal Council of Finance; however, the king upheld his decision. With his family, he fled the plague in Seville for Madrid in 1648. Francisco's will was dated 20 October 1690.
