He required papal dispensation for his marriage to his cousin, Juana de Acuña. Son of Fernando Álvarez de Toledo and Sancha de Guzmán, he married Juana de Acuña, and had issue: • García (see) • Pedro de Acuña, d.y. • Martín (see) • Sancha, married to Luis Méndez Portocarrero, with issue • Marina de Padilla, a nun at the Santo Domingo el Real • Teresa de Padilla, a nun at the Madre de Díos de Toledo |
