Main Events

He was named the legitimate heir of his uncle Ymer Pasha Zogu. He was fighting the Ottomans in the Peqin valley when he was called to assume leadership of the clan. After leaving his sons in charge, he returned to the Peqin to continue the assault on the Ottomans, and was killed in battle.[1] He had previously been recognised as governor of Mati by the Ottomans.[2]
