Prince Xhelal Zogu of Albania
(1881-1944)

Main Events

Educated in Istanbul, he served as a deputy in Albania in 1924, 1928, and 1925-28.[1] The monarchy was declared in 1928, and he was granted the title of prince.[2] He left for Turkey when the rest of the royal family abandoned Albania.[1]
