François Séraphin Delpech (1778–1825)
 
A lithographer, painter, lithographic printer, and art critic, Delpech was born at Paris. He began his career as a draughtsman, which influenced the precision of his later lithographs. In 1813, He entered the publishing world, and in 1818, he founded his own lithographic press in Paris, becoming a leader in the medium’s growth in France. Delpech's studio produced popular lithographic portraits, including works of prominent figures from the French Revolution and the Napoleonic era, admired for their accessibility and accuracy. He also contributed as an art critic for Mercure de France, shaping public taste and artistic discourse. He died in Paris in 1825, and his widow continued the business, preserving his legacy in documenting a transformative period in French history.
