16-17: Charles Magius leading his son by the hand and conducting him to be reconciled with his brothers and sister-in-law. In his hand is a scroll inscribed with 'You thought ill of me, but the Lord has turned it to good.' Another scene shows Magius in a grand hall seated at a table with his family with whom a reconciliation has taken place. The main inscription of the painting reads 'My father and my brothers abandoned me, but the Lord took me under his protection'.
