16-17: Charles Magius leading his son by the hand and conducting
him to be reconciled with his brothers and sister-in-law. In his hand
is a scroll inscribed with 'You thought ill of me, but the Lord has
turned it to good.' Another scene shows Magius in a grand hall seated
at a table with his family with whom a reconciliation has taken place.
The main inscription of the painting reads 'My father and my brothers
abandoned me, but the Lord took me under his protection'.
