Glowing gas and obscuring dust clouds in IC 1795, nicknamed the Fish Head Nebula because of its shape, form a star-forming region in the northern constellation Cassiopeia. Located about 6,000 light-years from Earth, the nebula consists mainly of ionised hydrogen, along with traces of oxygen and sulfur, which give it its characteristic reddish and greenish hues. This nebula is part of a larger star-forming complex that sprawls along the Perseus spiral arm of our Milky Way Galaxy. The image was captured using narrowband filters—H‑Alpha, O‑III, and S‑II—and processed using the Hubble Palette.
