A monument to British film
director Alfred Hitchcock appears in his customary suit, with birds
perched upon his shoulders, recalling his film The Birds. It
was installed as a tribute to Hitchcock to celebrate the town’s
long‑standing Festival du Film britannique de Dinard, which
honours British cinema each autumn, and to highlight the influence
and legacy of one of its most celebrated figures. Gulls often perch
on the statue, giving it a touch of realism. |
