| Propped against the corroded wall, the doll stares blankly with eyes too knowing for comfort, her expression inquisitive and unnervingly serene. Her lace dress clings like cobwebs to a memory long decayed. The brooch at her chest catches the light like a watchful eye, glinting with a malice that feels almost deliberate. Something in her silence suggests she remembers everything — and forgives nothing. |
