Marabou Stork

Rough, wrinkled, with a bald head and blotchy pinkish-red skin that spreads across the face and upper neck, the marabou stork lives in sub-Saharan regions where it often occurs near rivers, wetlands, and human settlements. It is a scavenger that feeds on carrion, scraps, and a wide range of small animals, and is sometimes seen around landfill sites and animal carcasses where it may feed alongside vultures.
