The Emperor Tamarin (Saguinus
imperator) is a small primate known for its long white drooping
moustache, a feature that lends it a rather regal air, and it comes
from the Amazon rainforest where it lives in social groups and feeds
on fruits, insects and tree sap. It is said to have been named after
Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. |
