Her epitaph reads:

Ci gît haute et puissante Dame, Madame Marguerite de Savoie, fille aînée du Duc de Savoie Louis, & de Madame Anne de Cypre, fille du Roi de Cypres, soeur aînée de la Reine de France Charlotte, qui trèpassa à l'Hôtel de Guistelles à Bruges le dimanche du mi-carême au mois de mars en l'an MCCCCLXXXIII. Priez Dieu pour elle.[1]
