Béatrice de Savoie
(-1290)

Main Events

Béatrice's
parents had planned for her to enter the Betton monastery in Savoy, but she refused to comply.[1] She was then betrothed to the Infante Jaime of Aragon (later, Jaime II, King of Mallorca) in 1263, but the contract was cancelled in 1266. According to a contract dated 21 October 1268, she renounced her rights of succession in favour of Philippe of Savoy. She might have died in 1292 instead.[2]

Place of death: Escalonia[2]
