R&L Cereal Premiums: Inges

Issued in 1970 by Kellogg, the Inges series (also known as 'Funny Fringes') was released both in Australia and America. The set was designed by Harry Hargreaves who drew his inspiration from nature, and the result was fifteen outlandish, yet charming, oddities. They were designed to be worn as a necklace. Standard colours are shown in the table below, although some other colours have been noted. In Australia, they were available as cereal premiums in Corn Flakes and OK's, whilst in America, they were found in Froot Loops and Corn Flakes. The wood sculptures were made by Edgar Durr.
