Debuting in 2023, Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures is an animated series aimed at younger audiences. Set during the High Republic, a peaceful era hundreds of years before the Skywalker saga, the show follows Jedi younglings such as Kai, Lys, and Nubs as they train under the wise Yoda and Master Zia at a temple on the planet Tenoo. Alongside their pilot, Nash, and her droid companion RJ-83, these enthusiastic Force users embark on galactic adventures, helping those in need and learning valuable lessons about friendship, bravery, and the ways of the Force. The show is a collaborative effort between Lucasfilm Animation and Wild Canary Animation. Michael Olson serves as showrunner, while Elliot Bour takes the helm as supervising director. This series marks the first full-length Star Wars animated production specifically crafted for a young audience and their families. Episodes blend educational elements with classic Star Wars themes, making it a gateway for new fans to explore the vast Star Wars universe. The animation style utilises a colourful and expressive 2D aesthetic, further emphasizing the show's target demographic.
