This Fabergé urn stands approximately six feet tall, and is carved from red malachite. It is decorated with sterling silver garlands, and wreaths encircle the Imperial Russian double-headed eagle. The urn sits atop a green malachite pedestal. It was presented to the New York Stock Exchange by Tsar Nicholas II on behalf of the Imperial Russian Government in 1904 in appreciation for floating a $1 billion loan for the Russian government in the previous year. The bond issue was rejected after the Revolution, and suspended in 1921. The urn is on display in the Board Room of the New York Stock Exchange.
