Round handbag Made from of grass
green peau de suede with copper ring and closure (English?). Created
c. 1947–1948.
The bag consists of two identical round halves that rise to a point
in the middle with a hard (plastic?) Both halves of the interior are
finished with a copper rim, which hinges at the bottom centre and
closes at the top centre by means of a plate with a round hole and a
spherical knob. The handle is attached to one half with two pins.
Lined with black artificial silk. Both halves are joined by black
lining fabric flaps trimmed with a strip of suede. For its
decoration, a padded, corrugated edge is applied on top of the
handle and along the sides of the bag halves.
