Desk with a kneeling bench
By German cabinetmaker Abraham Roentgen, c. 1758 - c. 1760. Created specially for the Archbishop and Elector of Trier, Johann Philipp von Walderdorff, whose portrait and coat of arms adorn the top. Made from various materials including walnut, oak, maple, rosewood, silver, mother-of-pearl, bone, bronze and ivory. Dimensions: h 148.5 × w 110 × d 58.5cm.
